Still mowing well one year on
I hate dealing with gas and extension cords so have been hunting for a decent cordless mower. I experimented with a human-powered reel mower: way too much work in 90+ degree heat on a thick lawn. I tried a Lowes-bought Black and Decker cordless mower which worked fine for the first season but died after a winter in the garage, even though I had looked after the battery as the manual instructed. So I was a little bit worried about trying yet another battery-driven mower, but decided to purchase this machine after reading the reviews on Amazon and elsewhere. It is now more than a year since my purchase and I am still pleased with the mower.

Things I like:
* The battery is way better than my previous Black and Decker mower: it has lasted 1.5 seasons -- probably about 40 cuts -- so far and I have not yet noticed any diminishing charge. I have always assiduously charged the battery according to instructions in the manual (it needs to be charged at least every 2 months... I set my cell phone calendar to remind me during the winter).
* I can mow all my grass (about 1/3 acre) on a single charge. Admittedly, my lawn is pretty scrappy, with a huge number of weeds in places (inherited from previous residents!), but some weeds can be tough to cut and this mower manages.
* It is very easy to raise and lower the height of the deck
* I love being able to remove the battery: I can take it into my basement to recharge while keeping the mower in the shed. I also keep the battery in the basement in the winter.
* The indicator lights showing the level of battery charge are a simple but useful feature.

Things I wish were different:
* The wheels are positioned in such a way as to make it difficult to cut right up to walls and the edges of flower beds. I end up having to take my strimmer to these areas.
* It is fairly heavy. Mostly this is not an issue but on one slope, I can feel the weight as I mow (I always mow across the slope). Also, the weight means that the wheels sink in and make ruts on soft soil.
* I wish I could pull it backwards a few feet without the rubber flap at the back of the mower always dragging underneath the mower body.
* The plastic body feels somewhat cheap. Mine developed a crack on one side at some point last year; this appears not to have affected the machine's effectiveness, but makes me question the quality of the product.

On balance, however, I am pleased with the mower and have recommended it to family members looking to move away from gas mowers.

Worx well
Easy to start, easy removal and replacement of the bag. A little heavier than I thought it would be. Easy to raise and lower the cutting blade.

New Owner and Proud!
I just got this mower a short time ago. So far, so good it seems to me. I wish they made this in this country! I had a CHICOM made cord mower I bought two years ago from big box store about this time of year. It is now dead! I tried replacing the ceramic resistor, after taking some readings, and still nothing. I paid about the same as much for my new Worx cordless machine. I really like this mower. First, it is super quiet, and easy to move. Secondly while it is heavier than the cordless. However, once you use this machine, you will be very happy with the new cordless freedom. READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST BEFORE CHARGING! The power source is very easy to remove and put back in place. The design and flexiblity is excellent! Safety features are good, as is construction. I bought it from a local business who sells and services these! If I have a problem, I will take it back to them! REMEMBER TO READ THE DIRECTIONS FIRST. Now, what I don't like about this mower is it is made by RED CHINESE SLAVE LABOR! It should be made by AMERICAN FREE LABOR making a fair living wage, union or not. All things considered those Chinese folks make a hell of a machine, so God Bless them! NOW, LET'S START MAKING GREAT MACHINES IN THIS COUNTRY AGAIN!

Excellent Battery Life
I bought this mower to upgrade from a reel mower as an alternative to borrowing my neighbors gas mower. I really wanted to stay green, but the reel mower was too hard to cut our 1/3 acre lot. This was a wonderful upgrade to make my life easier while still staying green.

The mower does a great job cutting the grass, and while I have only used the mulching feature so far, it seems to make very fine pieces even in longer grasses. The blade definitely slows down a bit in longer grass but still cuts just fine. It is very easy to raise and lower the bed if needed to go over it a trouble area a couple of times.

The battery life is the best thing about this product. We have 1/3 of an acre lot, so I was concerned about getting a mower where I could cut the whole yard at once without having to stop and recharge. Cutting our whole yard takes a bit more than an hour, and the battery status led still shows 1/2 battery left!

Amazon had super fast shipping and the best price (by far) as usual. Make sure you check around, as Worx constantly has rebate deals going on. Recently there was a 0 off this mower, and I saw at the end of last year you could get a free trimmer/hedger/blower (9 value) when you bought this mower.

great Worx mower, but slow customer service
I read the reviews before I bought my Worx mower. I was prepared for a decent product and lousy customer service. That's what I got, although in the end the Worx people did resolve my problem to my satisfaction - after many months. I live in western Montana and have about 1/3 acre of lawn to mow. I used to use a 21" push Sears gas mower. The Worx does my lawn on one charge and I find that it pushes about like the gas mower. I have used it with and without the grass catcher and have no complaints - the bag actually empties easier than the one on my gas mower. I like that it is quiet and doesn't pollute the air. I have used it weekly for 2 months now and so far I give it a thumbs up. I still use the gas mower to do the hard stuff like dethatching and cutting a weedy section of my yard. My problem was that the mower arrived with a bent part on the handle that I tried to have replaced with a new part rather than shipping mowers across the country. After a month of discussion with Customer Service, they agreed with this approach, but sent the wrong part. I emailed them pictures of the problem part and spent months following up with them about the part. Finally, after 3 months, they said that they were not able to provide the part or replacement mower because this model mower (WG780) was no longer in production. They offered a partial refund of my purchase price, which I accepted. Fortunately, the bent part does not interfere with safe operation of the mower. If it had, I would have shipped the thing back to them months ago. My main complaint with Customer Service was that they never returned phone calls or responded to emails. I had to initiate all of the contacts. I hope this helps you.

Do not buy- terrible performance and warranty!!
I bought this mower in early May of 2010. The first two times I used it, it required two battery charges to mow my quarter acre lawn. Then the transmission failed ("self-propelled" feature). I brought the unit to the warranty center as directed by Greenworks (closest 90 minutes away, in metro NY area!!). Now, more than 6 weeks later, there are still no replacement transmissions available according to Greenworks anywhere in the country, and no estimated time of arrival. Their warranty is worthless- they say ship it back to Amazon to get refund, and Amazon clearly states that this is NOT a returnable item!!

DO NOT BUY!!!

Powerful Fast Moving Mower
I'm very satisfied with the product. It's quiet, well made, and powerful. It cuts the grass without any difficulty at all. The only problem is the speed of the self propelled drive. If you are elderly or have difficulty walking it is difficult to keep up with the mower. It really moves out fast. I frequently run the mower with the self propelled drive disengaged, and push it manually for better control in short critical areas, or toggle the drive on and off to keep up with the mower in longer runs. This product would be much improved with a variable speed control on the self propelled drive. Other than this one criticism it's a great mower.

Incredible Workhorse and good sensible machine:Update
I have used this machine 3 times now and charged the battery after calling the company and getting right through for 24 hours as they suggested over the manuals recommendation of only 15. I ran it for 40 minutes and it still had 1 green led showing. I charged it that night back to 100%. I ran it the next day bagging again and again used the self propel mode again as the day before for 40 minutes. This time I did the same amount of cutting and had 2 green leds left on. I charged it again and over this Memorial Day weekend really went to work on the entire yard. 1st and 2nd cuts were only 6,000 square feet. Friday night I ran the machine again using about half time self propelled and did the entire front and back about 3500 square feet and went over the area in back twice bagging again. I ran the machine for 1 hour and 10 minutes. I showed the amber light this time. I kept forgetting to empty the bag and each time it became heavy and was full. Not really a good thing to do. That night was the third charge back to 100%. Each time I noticed the battery charging faster than the last. The machine even down to almost saying it need to be charged never lost blade speed, nor did it slow its pace. Saturday I finished the entire yard in about 30 minutes bagging leaves from the Florida winter. This was still using the self propel option and after that took a 30 minute rest. The machine still showed 2 green leds on yet. I came out and inserted the mulcher attachment and proceeded to do the entire yard of almost 10,000 square feet. I mostly walked the machine without self propel more than 50 % of the time but went over many spots more than once. After 2 hours of use I showed the red or recharge led only but the machine never appeared to lose power or blade speed. It still started smartley and had plenty of power even though it showed to recharge. Each time I recharged the battery I waited for the GREEN power led on the charger to appear. I measured well over 25 volts with a multimeter Sunday after a full charge and I did not use it on Sunday. I way about 245 pounds at a height of 5'11" and am 63 and a half. I never thought this machine was this well made and it served me well and did a lot of first cut cleanup work for me. I never wanted to do more but the machine was stilling to work when finished. This machine was willing to do more work than I was ready for. Thinking of buying a new battery one day in the future would be a lot cheaper that the GAS,OIL, BELTS, AIR FILTERS and the maintenance costs assuming nothing went wrong with my Torro gas mower. My test socket showed at my electric rates here in Florida that the price was about 24 cents a charge. That is compared to about 8 dollars worth of gas to do the work I did this weekend. This little monster is only 18" a cut but it did a job that I am really proud of and never let this big boy down at all. I also DO LIKE the smaller size because the larger machines are bulky and hard to handle for most folks I know. The adjustment for all 4 wheels was really an added lovely feature because I changed my height twice and it took me 2 seconds to do that. Anyone that writes about this machine in a negative manner is not thinking well at all or had too much sun. When I called the company I was treated to a lovely woman from Canada who was really on the ball and had answers without a second thought and really knew what she was talking about. I like the little beast and will keep my lawn nicer now because it is a pleasure to use and smell the fresh gulf air instead of the what not that comes out of the gas job. At 9 I got a good deal from Amazon and the shipping was free to boot. This machine does not appear to be as heavy as it says and all wheels had quality SEALED BEARINGS! All parts are in stock at the manufacture in Canada and I really liked the blowup of the parts, with Identification and Part Numbers. This machine is a great deal for anyone with less than 10,000 square feet of lawn. I would even do more but my limit is about half that in this heat. My 4th charge after Saturday sent the led panel back to the amber led 2 seconds after I had the charger on, so it was not even close the the red mandatory charge point at the time I stopped it. UPDATE: June 14th 2010,
After five charges now this battery has been doing work way beyond what I expected of it. I ALWAYS top off the battery and even when all the green leds are on I still wait for the charger to turn from the red to green display. I found this charger also has an auto trickle charge function which is a very small charge rate to keep a battery at full charge in certain conditions as mentioned in the owner's manual. The battery sat unused for over 10 days and before I used it I put the charger on it for about three hours and allowed again it to turn the led on the charger from red to green. Two days later I mulched about 4 inches of fairly good grass and only took half a cut to get a nice clean look and a good mulch. I did use the power assist self propel lever all of the time because it is 100 feet for every pass. In 40 minutes of mulching which used a lot of battery power I had cut an area of 2200 feet on the side and rear behind my pool cage and the batter had dropped to the amber led telling a charge would be need in a short while. I hit the pool and let it rest for 10 minutes and came back to a 1st green led on the battery. I then made a few runs up the other side of my land in about 10 minutes in some light grassy areas and went back around and finished off the side I originally started on and drove it up to the garage. I then made a few strips cut next to the front roadway and then back to the garage area for a battery removal and a clean up with a soft brush. I still had an amber led showing and the machine never slowed down and still had the blade doing its semi quiet whirring with no apparent loss of power. I find this machine an awesome device and it is very helpful to me. When a battery finally fails I will compare it to the price of GAS I BOUGHT< PLUGS< OIL

Has a kick!
This little cutie kind of jumps like a wild pony with the self propelled option. You'll want to drop that lever when making turns and cutting small spaces. My prior mower was a 22" so I cut more narrow strips now but I LOVE how easy it is to push and to empty a smaller catch bag. Practice with the propelled lever in a large area of lawn, especially if you are inexperienced and not very strong. Our lawn is a little over a 1/4 acre and I don't even come close to draining the battery. The battery is easy to lift out, both hands because it is on the heavy side, for charging (or it can be charged in the mower). It does not develop a memory and can be charged at any time. Just watch and take it off the charger when the light turns green (about 5 hours, following initial 15 hours). A completely sealed battery that you don't have to worry about tipping. Nice, soft molded handle with levers that don't need a constant tight grip, so it's easier on your hands.

Mulching feature superb.
I've had it two weeks now and love it, Cutting rural 9,000 sf lawn, no problem with battery life or power, have no idea how long the battery lasts, went over most the lawn twice and didn't show a hint of running down. Similar to gas engine in results. A consumer rating service had it at the top, especially for mulching, now that the leaves are falling it is showing its stuff, they just disappear, back into the soil where they belong. No more leaf blowing or raking, just mowing. Definitely recommend this one.

Easy to use and plenty of battery life
I read many reviews on both the Toro and Black and Decker battery operated mowers. I think either would have served my needs but my neighborhood lawn mower repair shop recommended the toro based on feedback he had received from users of this product, and Toro has a network of shops like his who provide service versus black and decker who does not. The mower arrived via Yellow Freight safe and sound. Very little assembly required and very simple instructions on how to operate. I mow 2 yards that are flat that total about 5,000 square feet with plenty of obstacles to navigate around. Took a little getting use to pushing this mower as all my previous gas mowers have been self propelled. I do notice the difference. Not a big deal, just a little more exercise for me. I noticed the mower actually mows better the thicker the grass. We have been going through a bit of a drought so many areas of the lawn are thin. In the really thin areas where there is space between tall blades of grass the mower does not cut all these blades of grass evenly. The manual does say to try lowering the front of the mower deck one notch lower than the rear deck if this problem occurs. Have not tried that yet. The mower is well constructed, and has a solid feel to it when you are mowing. The 'plastic' wheels are well made and you really would not know they are plastic without giving them close examination. If you are looking for the feel of macho power you are not going to get it with this machine. If you are looking for an easy, battery operated mower that will get the job done than this is the machine for you. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

EASY, but...
I bought this from Amazon, and it arrived damaged...then it was a hassle to take to UPS because I couldn't fit the box into my small car...(I wasn't sure how much UPS would charge me to pick it up, and didn't know how to change to pick up) Ended up buying it locally, without box. EASY to charge and start! If you used to had a gas powered mower, it takes some getting used to...not nearly as powerful, but glad to help the environment & get a bit more exercise!

Toro ECycler
The product works great! The packaging tho does not seem to be for shipping. The handles are extended and then secured by a bolt and nut. During transportation the bolt came of and fell out of the box. Fortunately for me the bolt came off at the Mailbox Etc place where I had it shipped. I was able to retrieve after asking one of the employes there. The equipment worked wonderfully. I am happy with it.

Toro 20360 e-cycler
The first Toro e-cycler arrived with major damage. Amazon required that I return the damaged item. No small task considering the shipping container was damaged and this unit weights 70lbs. I was required to repackage and bring the damaged mower to the UPS drop location. Again, this was difficult due to the fact that the place is only open two hours a day. Handling an awkward 70 pound package is also difficult. A large vehicle such as a truck is needed to transport it. Amazon sent me a replacement mower. This one arrived in the same type of container but suffered only minor damage. I replaced a bent bolt myself and was able to straighten out a bent wheel adjusting lever.
The e-cycler seems to do a good job on the lawn. Mowing time is as advertised.
I would recommend against buying this item from anyone other than a local dealer because of the problems associated with Toro's inability to package their product. Also, Amazon doesn't go out of their way to make the return very easy.

Earthwise Not Very Wise At All!
Was initially impressed with this lawnmower. First three times I used it, everything went great. Cut the grass reasonably well, and the battery re-charged as advertised. Not anymore. Battery will not re-charge, and EarthWise Customer support doesn't particularly care. Called them, told them the problem I had and they promised to send me an invoice or something so that I could take it to a repair shop as it was still under warranty. Three weeks later, no invoice. Getting through to customer support is a bear. They do everything possible to keep you from actually talking to anyone who will offer any help. Round and round, transferred to this number, then to another number, then back to the first number. Be warned! If you want a reliable product this isn't it. If you want good customer service, they don't have it.

Half Acre on one charge!
I bought an Earthwise electric mower in desperation of finding a reasonably priced reasonably intelligent person to do my yard. I have an acre in Louisiana where you can watch the grass grow after a rain (really!!). I love this lawnmower. I have fibromyalgia and have no strength in my wrists/shoulders and could never get a gas mower started. This starts right up, no pulling strings and jerking your shoulders out of place. No oil getting into the gas, no mess..fabulous.
If the grass is very high and thick (as it does get here), this mower will have a bit of struggle going through it and the charge will diminish accordingly but all in all I can do a 1/2 acre on one charge. So I can do my backyard one day and the front/side the next day, recharging overnight. Not a big deal. It is a bit heavy but I can push it without struggling - again not the machine for a yard that's been neglected and overgrown but if you are keeping up with your grass, it will do fine and will be easy and clean to use. Basically I'm quite happy with it. Days of knee-high weeds and/or expensive indiscriminate grass-men (who run over my medicinal herbs!) is over!! That's worth the price right there.

Great so far!
We researched electric lawnmowers online before deciding to buy the Earthwise cordless. At first we were going to go for the corded model, but we are on a corner lot, with too many trees and flower beds to work around with a cord. I think we made the right decision!

First off, it's early days yet, and we've only used the mower twice but it's been great so far. We've used it in mulching mode, and it seems to do a good job of chopping everything up.

My recommendation to anyone buying one would be to read the instruction manual before you do anything - including taking the mower out of the box! It's easier to take the mower out if you first remove the battery pack, but it's not too obvious how you do that, which is where the manual comes in.

I was concerned that the charger is a a "dumb" charger - so if you leave it connected for a long period, it's possible to damage the battery pack by overcharging it. The charger does have a green LED that comes on to indicate that the battery is fully charged, however, so it seems fine to me.

Out of the box, it took 14 hours of charging before the green LED came on.

I mowed our yards at 06:00 in the morning, in semi-darkness, in order to avoid the LA heat - and the mower is quiet enough that it won't be a problem waking the neighbors. In fact mowing at that time with the LED's on the mower glowing, and the mower sounding like a large hair dryer, it felt quite spacey! No mess, no smell, of course, and it feels good not to be causing air pollution. Bear in mind that doing the yards with one badly adjusted gas mower can put out as much pollution as a regular car driving hundreds of miles!

It took me about 45 minutes to do our yards, and there were still 3 green LED's showing on the mower. The battery then took just 7 hours of charging before the green LED on the charger came on - so it seems to have plenty of capacity for our purposes. Realistically, I think you might get an hour of use between charges, since you wouldn't want to completely discharge the battery pack.

I have no worries about having to charge the battery every month during the Winter - we'll keep the battery pack and charger in the house, and will probably buy a cheap timer to preclude the possibility of us forgetting to disconnect the charger to prevent overcharging.

I'd read some reviews that said a wheel had fallen off - so I pulled off all the plastic hub caps and checked that all the split pins were secure - which they were. I think the obvious cause of a wheel coming off would be a split pin that hadn't been bent over, so maybe it's something worth checking.

Another review claimed that the wheels are attached to a piece of plastic only an eighth of an inch thick. Well that's certainly not the case on our unit - everything is metal, and looks up to the job. The wheels run on stout 1/2" steel stub axles, which are welded to 3/16" steel arms, which in turn are connected by 7/16" steel rods.

The single lever used to change the cutting height works really smoothly.

The mower feels a little bit heavier than the 22" gas mower it replaced, but it rolls better on the ball-bearing wheels than the old gas mower did. It actually weighs 87lbs, of which the battery pack is 32lbs. Fortunately, our yards are pretty flat.

4 months of use
Have used this mower 3-4 times a month for ~ 4 months. Ease of use is good. Mower mows OK; however, it will bog down in Bermuda grass. Charger works fine. Only real problem has been the rear safety flap going under the mower when pulling backwards. Flap needs to be re-designed.

Fully satisfied
I bought this mower from Amazon, and I'm satisfied with it. I've been using it about 6 weeks. I have a small front lawn and a relatively small back lawn, probably not more than 2000 square feet in all, and so this mower is overkill. But the little Bully Lawnpup I'd been using before I moved took nearly an hour to cut; that wasn't any good at all. My goal was that I wanted to be done with both lawns, start to finish, in 10 minutes - no fooling around with gasoline cans, extension cords, difficult height adjustments, or anything else. And the B+D delivered. Here's what I learned:

LIKES:

I love that the B+D sits at an outlet, handle folded over, and is ready to go when it's time. The battery can be charged in place or out of the mower, which is handy if you're planning to swap batteries for big jobs, but I found it easiest just to leave it there.

I like the safety features. The start button, power key, and grab bar make it nearly impossible to start the mower if you are not intending to, or if you are a small child. That's excellent. Yet it's easy to just start and go. The rubber back-flap reduces rock throws and

I love the height adjustment. There is a small meter and a little squeeze handle; squeeze the handle, pull up or down until the meter reads what you want, let go the handle, and all four wheels 'click' into place.

I like the wide track and the ease of handling. It's fairly easy, given the mower's weight, to navigate it how you want it to go.

I like the results. The lawn is cut, not shredded or torn, and most of the clippings go in the bag. Because they really want you to mulch, it's designed as a mulching mower; I find that an inch-wide stripe of clippings miss the bag and get laid down under the right wheels. They blow away in the wind after an hour or so.

I like that it arrived so quickly, undamaged. Yay for Amazon prime shipping.

I guess I like how environmentally friendly it is. My area's served by a nuke plant, so my mowing's carbon-neutral. It's also relatively quiet compared to gas mowers, though I do use earplugs (and eye and foot protection, always, just like you should too).

DISLIKES:

The mower is extremely heavy. 72 pounds; 46 lbs of that is battery. Ugh.

The wheels could have benefited from a bit of suspension or at least springiness; and better bearings. The ride is a little rough and if the ground is even a little uneven, it shows in a sort of unevenly cut lawn. Bearing down on the front wheels sort of fixes that, but who wants to do that kind of work?

The plastic part that holds the battery - battery console, for lack of a better word - cracked within a week. I don't think it's designed to cope with the weight of this battery. The problem appears cosmetic only.

It's hard to take off the bag. I got used to reaching down through the handle and lifting the catch bag up between the bars. No dice here - you have to bend down and move it sideways, out from the mower. If you empty the mower in a narrow side path, like where most people keep their greenwaste can, it's annoying and you will spill dust off the top of the bag.

Clippings, leaves and dust get on the top of the mower and top of the bag under even light use. They appear to shoot up between the right rear wheel and the plastic blade housing. I understand that if I were mulching, as they clearly seem to think I am supposed to be, that stuff would get everywhere. I don't *want* to mulch, because that stuff is nasty and I don't want it everywhere. I want to catch it and discard it. Why doesn't it all go in the bag? It's easily brushed off and swept up, but sometimes this makes me miss my 10 minute window.

It's an expensive product. For the price Amazon is charging, the device ought to be perfect, not just great. Despite that, if you took mine away I'd buy another one, and I guess that's good enough for government work.

As powerful as they say
This one does come fully charged and mows like a dream right out of the box.
I am glad they went back to the bar design for keeping the mower running, it is more comfortable and durable. The increased voltage allows me to mow my front and back yard and keeps moving even on the thicker grass in my back yard. My previous model required me to do each yard area on a different day.

Overall, I really like the mower, considering its electric and considering the good price. I am happy with how the mower mulches.. I put some chemicals down to kill weeds/crabgrass and have had to mulch for the past couple mowings, and I can't even see the clippings it does such a good job. I'm wondering if whoever was having a problem with this didn't put in the mulching insert that easily slips into place once the bag is removed. Anyway, I actually found this to be a nice little bonus for this mower. As per the instructions I just leave it plugged in in the garage and it's always ready to use, and it always starts the first time every time with just the push of a button. It does a nice job providing a nice, even cut, but I haven't used it to cut really long or wet grass yet so don't know how it'll do in those circumstances yet. It takes me about 60 minutes to mow my mother's lawn and I don't sense any loss of performance due to a drained battery, so it seems like it'll go for quite a bit longer. Some nice touches are the one-touch height adjustment, the bag is very easy to take on/off and empty, the safety key to prevent kids from starting it, and the handle is nicely shaped and padded so it's very comfortable to use. The mower is a little on the heavy side, but I don't think it's all that much heavier than a traditional gas mower and overall it's pretty maneuverable. Overall this mower seems pretty solid and well put together.

Black & Decker Cordless
After my Black & Decker corded mower just stopped in my yard this summer, I needed a new mower and knew I didn't want to go back to gas. I got this mower and was able to set up and use it in one day. The set up was easy and the mower works much better (cuts more evenly) than the other one. This lower would be great for flat lawns. I have a fairly steep hill and count on getting a bit of a workout when I mow, because this mower weighs 72 pounds. The weight comes from the battery which is one easy to remove. But, you don't need to remove it because you can charge it while it is still in place. Also one lever allow you to change the height level of the mower.

Cons: As far as I can tell you can't tell what charge level is on the mower and you need to use a key to start the mower. It is heavy if you have a hill.

Pros: You don't need to remove the battery to charge and can leave the mower on the charger all of the time. Easy set-up. One lever to change the height.

I have used it just three times, and am extremely please so far

Way Too Heavy
This lawn mower is very heavy and the wheels flatten the grass you're trying to cut. I have to go over my lawns twice to get an even cut; once from one direction and the second cut from the other direction. Definately not for new lawns.

Great Product!
I like the way this product is neatly packaged. You can store the box on a shelf and take the filters out as needed. They last 3 months and they really collect a lot of allergens and dust. This is my second order and I plan to continue to use Filtrete filters.

Great at Filtering, But...
This filter does a great job filtering; there was far less dust in the house. I started using them a few months ago, and replaced the filter every month. A few weeks ago, our furnace started making noise (kind of like a washing machine on the spin cycle). The problem: The fan motor was shot. The furnace was brand new, four years ago. Maybe I just had a bum motor... but after shelling out 00 for a new fan motor, I've gone back to good old fashioned cheap filters!

3M furnace filters
This is my first time buying 3M filters. I had bought the allergen reduction filters by other companies. However, many service people have told me to only by 3M, even the AC service company I use. So....I am using them.

Finding home A/C filters
These filters are just the ones I was looking for and they do the job.

But there are SO MANY different types of filters - it was hard to find them. It would be great if Amazon could provide some type of "buying guide" for selecting the right filters.

Cheaper at Home Depot - but not much cheaper
I was ready to buy this 6-pack again but decided to go visit the local hardware store with my calculator just to be sure I was saving money. The 1000 MPR Filtrete 6-pack price makes the filters .60 each. At Home Depot they are .70 and with our TN 9.25% sales tax that makes the filter .69 - so not a bargain through Amazon. I priced the 600 MPR and the 1500 MPR also and they aren't cheaper buying through Amazon either. Maybe for around .50 difference for the 1000 MP 6-pack it's worth having them delivered to your door. I may have just talked myself into buying these through Amazon again...!

Excellent Fan
I am not quite sure why others said that the remote doesn't work well for them, it works great for me from across the room. Maybe they should buy some new batteries for them. Anyway ordered this from Amazon for less then 30.00 and the first one came to me broken. Amazon was very good about shipping me a new one and it has been an excellent fan. It just so happened that I bought this fan a week before my central AC went out in my home. It was very nice to have it available. It works very well and was a bargain.

very good fan
we have 1 of these fans in each of the bedrooms in our house. We leave them on low all the time, since our bedrooms are upstairs and (because we have 1 zone central A/C, the upstairs is always warmer than downstairs ) we can set the A/C a couple of degrees warmer and still be comfortable in the bedrooms. The remotes come in handy for when a front comes through overnight and the temperature drops, we don't have to get up to turn it off. Although mostly, we turn these fans on in June and shut them off in September. I've seen other brands that weren't able to stand up to 4 months continuous use, and we have had many fan motors (other brands) seize. Looks like these are of high quality. They move a decent amount of air on "low" and are still quiet. When on Medium or high, they really move a lot of air.

A great fan.......and then some
I have two Lasko fans, Model #1880. Folks, they are great! I live in Sacramento, CA and it does, indeed, warm up in the summer. I use the fans exclusively outdoors in various seating areas. My first, I purchased two years ago, the second, last year. They have performed without a glich. In fact, I'm about to order a third as soon as I'm done with this review; which is now.

Great fan, reasonable noise level
I really like this fan. It's low setting is perfect when you just want a light breeze or some background noise, and the high setting is powerful enough to blow papers all over my office at work! :) Only thing I didn't like was the instructions. They were really poor. It's a pretty easy fan to put together, but it took me a couple shots to get it right. It doesn't require any hardware to put it together, but you want to make sure you put the back piece of the fan in first, then screw it in tight with the large white plastic nut. Something that isn't well explained in the instructions.

not enough air
the fan works as advertised. setup is easy and the remote works great from across the room. there is not quite enough air pushed by the fan but that may be a good thing, it does not blow everything off the table.
low speed is very quiet and it is easy to get comfortable enough to forget it is on. the timer works well also. good fan.

I replaced our ten-year-old In-sink-erator with one of these.
After I hooked up this In-sink-erator model, I ran cold water into it, and turned it on. It just hummed. If you have an older disposer like we did: Do you know the hum it makes when it's jammed up and you have to release it? Well, imagine the sound of that hum . . . then cut it in half . . . and that's the sound that THIS new In-sink-erator makes when its "grinding" water. No gurgley-gurgley noise at all. Unbelievably quiet. And when it's actually grinding food, it's still very quiet and so fast that it's done in a flash. This one has 3/4 horsepower versus the 1/2 horsepower oldie that it replaced.

Great replacement
Replaced original installed InSink with this Waste King. Much improved functionality and very quiet. Good choice and good price. Installation very easy.

Quiet, quiet, quiet
When our disposal broke we decided to try this model because it is made specifically for septic systems. We were amazed at how quiet this is! Just a hummmm. Nice. Takes up a lot of room under the sink, but works so well and so quitely that we really don't mind. Highly recommended.

finally a quiet garbage disposal
I recently purchased a garbage disposal in which I am very well pleased. It was easy to install, but what I really like is that it is very quiet. It came with instructions which was easily understandable. And, it is easy on the eyes. The reason for purchaseing this item is that I live out in the country and I have a septic tank. There is no smelly aroma with the liquid dispencer that comes with it to eliminate any types of unpleasant odors. Now that I have it, installed it, and it works very well. The question is....would I purchase another one. Dern tootin'.

Great Disposer
We purchased this disposer for our cottage in northern Wisconsin. Never had one before because we were concerned about the septic system. Found this unit, designed for use with septic systems, and couldn't be happier. Installation was straightforward, with easy to follow instructions. Unit is very quiet, and chews up just about everything without any effort. Well, except for the dish rag we put down by accident, but even that didn't jam it, we just heard a weird noise and shut it off. Great product, great feature with the bio-waste chemical it injects to aid the septic system. We also bought an air-activated pushbutton switch to turn it on. Neat innovation that uses air hoses to activate power...much easier than rewiring a wall to add the switch. Works flawlessly.

Great little product
Receiver and transmitter were received in good shape. Just had to install the transmitter battery, plug in the receiver and it was ready to go. A few tests showed it to be sensitive with good range. I installed it in a sealed water heater cabinet which has been problematic for leaks. I expect to purchase additional transmitters in the future to cover other problem areas (up to three more).

With my experiences to date, I would recommend this product.

Works as described
I put the sensor in my basement and the receiver in my living room and it works fine (I was afraid the range would be too small). Wish the warning beeps were a bit louder, but since I can place the receiver anywhere in the house, not an issue. Great piece of mind for the money - I don't have to constantly run down to the basement to check if the sump needs to be run.

PROS:
- It's wireless, so you can have the alert box where you need it
- You can monitor additional areas by adding sensors, including ones to monitor if your garage is open
- the white alert box is pretty small - seemed bigger in the picture
- Does not feel flimsy

CONS:
- The warning beeps could've been a bit louder, but since I can put it anywhere in the house, not a big issue.

Heavy and shelf has limited use
I found myself moving my 6ft ladder instead of moving this step ladder. Mainly because it is really heavy. I dont think it has any advantage over a 6ft ladder except that its not as tall. I am repainting my room, and I thought this would be easier to maneuver because I dont need the height. The shelf is a bit useless. Its only meant to hold cans, not a pan. It has these two release mechanisms on the side of the shelf that make it impossible to lay anything flat accross the shelf, and be steady. So forget about rolling your paint, and having the pan sit on the ladder with you. I would not recommend, If your looking for a step ladder, go for a lighter one.

love this product
caught this on sale and had to get one. Like others, it was delivered minus a rubber foot, email to customer service and it was replaced promptly.

Disappointed
This ladder is fairly heavy and is the most complicated ladder to open and close that I have seen. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who has arthritis or delicate hands. Once set up, it does seem to be sturdy and stable. I have a three step stool of a different brand that is simple and easy to open, so I was expecting this 4 step stool to be similar but I was disappointed by the difficulty of setting this up and its weight.

What I expected
The ladder arrived in good shape and in a timely fashion. The fourth step works well for the high places where I water my plants and remove cupboard dishes. It is sturdy with a solid feel. The rubber socks on the base really grip the floor.

The product works well but leg caps were missing. This problem could have been solved easily by shipping missing end caps....Instead Amazon sent me a return label...I was in need of this product quickly, so I decided to keep the merchandise but am not happy with response!!!!!
